Threads of Time: Climate Change Through Fiber Art

Threads of Time: Climate Change Through Fiber Art In-Person

Visualize Climate. Stitch the Story. Connect Through Craft.

Join us at the library for a unique collaboration through the Mid-Hudson Library System in a program that blends art, climate science, and community collaboration! The Tempestry Project transforms weather data into vibrant fiber art, with each row of yarn representing a single day's temperature.

Whether you're an experienced knitter, a curious crafter, or completely new to fiber arts, all skill levels are welcome.

What to expect:

  • A brief introduction to the Tempestry Project and its mission

  • Learn how to participate with a low time commitment.
