Yarn and Yak Yarn Craft Circle In-Person
Yarn and Yak and is inclusive of all yarn crafters who want to come to the library work on their projects with us, get a little help and make new friends in the process.
Come craft with us on while we spin our yarns and produce amazing handmade items. If you don’t have a yarn craft to work on, not to worry. We have a project for you. You can learn how to loom knit hats with donated yarn.
You don’t have to loom knit. You can crochet or knit in the traditional style or be as fancy as you want. The important thing this that we are creating together.
Crafting for Comfort
Knitting for charity is a wonderful way to weave together warmth and kindness, all while strengthening our sense of community. Each stitch crafted with care brings comfort to those in need, showing that even the simplest acts of creativity can make a profound difference. By sharing our skills and resources, we can create beautiful items that offer not just physical warmth, but also a sense of belonging and hope to those who receive them. Let's continue to craft for comfort and spread goodwill through our passion for knitting. We are accepting handmade hats, mittens and scarves for the winter season, which will be stored in our Community Cupboard for those who are in need. You can knit at the library or home.
