Artist's Statement
I live, paint and tend garden in Highland, Town of Lloyd, Hudson Valley, New York. Poughkeepsie, NY is my birth place.
My career was in commercial art and design. Retired, I keep creating, painting many pieces per day, each day.
My art is graceful and full of motion. It's fanciful and always energetic. Each piece is done with mixed media, pastel/ watercolor/ ink, marker, nail polish. All works are on paper or canvas and many are relatively small.
My inspiration is at my feet, my garden, the weeds, the flowers, the tiny life unwitnessed on a leaf. This supplies all the wonder I need to create.
I hope you find each piece at least interesting. I hope some find their way into your heart and home. Each for me, is a great joy to create.
